- IVE GOT BLACK MARKS OR STAINING AROUND MY FIRE OR BOILER ????
It could be leaking or " spilling " is the correct term that we use, this is when products of combustion or burnt gasses are escaping from the appliance. my advice to you is to get it checked out is the only way for sure to ensure the appliances saftey.
- WILL A SERVICE SAVE ME MONEY ??
yes, a number of pointers here is that when an appliance is serviced annually it can run more efficiently and not only that i can see potential problems that may arrise in the near future.
- IF I HAVE PETS SHOULD I HAVE MY GAS APPLIANCES CHECKED MORE THAN ANNUALLY ??
yes, its a fact that animals moult or loose fur on a daily basis and gas fires especialy draw air from the room and surrouding rooms and more often than not it draws in fur as well, causing all sort of problems that may go un noticed at the begining but it could turn in to something very very serious if left unchecked.
- DO I NEED A NEW CONDENSING BOILER ?
well the answer to that is based on a few simple questions, if like many of people money is a key issue that plays a drastic role in wether or not you have one fitted and that you have been correctly advised from the outset, advice can be given free of charge. Another pointer is if your system has faults, say for example you have a system boiler and a few rads remian cold and you tank is weeping from every orrafice and youve had countless plumbers round who cant seem to fix it, well economics come into it, why spend hard earned money on something that is inefficient and very costly to run and probably break down in the future adding extra costs.
- I HEAR A BANGING NOISE COMING FROM MY HOT WATER TANK ??????
It needs to be looked at, theres a multitude of things it could be. A process of elimination, it could be sludge, your diverter or pump these items need to be checked.
- IM USING FAR TO MUCH GAS ?????
Well i get asked this often.........few pionters......are your appliances dated or inefficient ?.........or you may have a GAS LEAK.
